CCCIP is pleased to share the Bonds that Hurt, Bonds that Heal trailer, in honour of National Child's Day.
The making of this documentary is the result of research that focuses on how to raise awareness and advocate for children with incarcerated parents.
These are the stories of four courageous people who believe that sharing their own truths of vulnerability and resilience can make a difference in the lives of others. We are hopeful that Bonds that Hurt, Bonds that Heal will inspire those in support roles, policymakers, and citizens to engage with children of incarcerated parents.
We invite you to watch the trailer and join as witnesses with compassion, to help those who live these stories carry them without the burden of shame.
